Silvia M. Wynter is the author of three mystery novels - Prey of Angels, In the Shadow, and Burdened Legacy: Some Sins Never Let Go. All three stories originate from her professional background, which is rife with drama, tragedy and human resilience. Like many authors whose first careers are in other professions like law, medicine and politics, Silvia too, knows she is most credible and knowledgeable when drawing from her social work and child welfare background. It is through this prism that Silvia understands the prevalence of human inequity and the dynamics of power and oppression, courage and love. No group outside of the family is as protective or violent towards their own - or as loving or condemning - or as supportive or critical. So many stories lie there - beautiful and dangerous ones - stories that will transport readers to places all over the world and intrigue them with mystery and drama.
Silvia's stories are ultimately a tribute to the family, their spirit and love, and their willingness to brave any storm on behalf of their own.
Silvia has a Bachelors and a Master's Degree in Social Work and occupied senior leadership roles in the field of child welfare for many years. She now writes full-time and is working on her fourth novel.
