About me

I am a Black Canadian author with international roots, Jamaican, Spanish, and British. Prey of Angels; In the Shadow; and Burdened Legacy: Some Sins Never Let Go, are my first three published novels. My readers know and appreciate that I am committed to bringing BIPOC characters into my stories in genuine and non-compromising ways, which for me, means inclusively, equally, and realistically.

I am a social worker by profession and occupied senior leadership roles for many years before I left the field to write full-time - a decision I have never regretted, but which still informs much of what I write. My past experiences, and all that I am, have significantly influenced my stories, which I hope to share more of with you in the coming months and years.
